Intuition, inspire, Florence Scovel Schinn, 30 Days of Great Reads with Mindset Coach Kimberly Conrad

"The Magic Path of Intuition by Florence Scovel Shinn"
Florence presented her first book (The game of Life and How to Play it) to the world in 1925. She died in 1940, but I have every book she wrote. In 2012, a rare book dealer happened upon this small typewritten unpublished manuscript, by Florence and presented it to Lousie Hay, who then published it through Hay House. Louise had long been enamored with the works of Florence.
I love this little book and usually carry it in my briefcase.
Florence was a great believer in the scripture "as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he", and taught about mindset, and listening to that inner voice. She was really ahead of her time. People from around the world have different names for this voice, Source, Universe, Spirit.
In my faith, I refer to it as the Holy Spirit. The point is, It took me well into my 40's to really understand that if I want to be able to hear that voice, I must have daily quiet time....which is separate from my time of prayer. I used to hear the phrase "prayer is talking to God, meditation is listening".
I understand that now, and I am able to hear that voice so much more clearly.

Day #4 of 30 Days of Great Reads.
