Peace, Inspire, 30 Cups 30 Days Challenge with Kimberly Conrad

In keeping with the 30 Cups in 30 Days Challenge, below is my cup for yesterday, Day #25.
This lovely little cup is actually new....I stumbled on it at Home Goods. It made me think of my dear Mother in law, Helen (she passed about 13 years ago at the age of 82)
She loved birds and was active for years in the Audubon Society. I find the older I get, the more I appreciate so much about her. She was a rockstar of a woman.

She raised 3 kids alone, and had a wonderful career in Corporate America, which was very uncommon in her day. She was a trailblazer, and full of class and grace and the propriety our society is missing in this time.
I miss her and there are so many conversations I would love to sit and have with her over a cup of something yummy, now that I have moved into this new phase of my own life, with kids grown and starting families of their own.
Our elders have so very much to teach us, if we are willing students:)
My memories of her are still teaching me!
